Narsizo Perez and Juana Francisca Tamez, 1841 Marriage in Santiago, Nuevo Leon, Mexico

The following marriage record for my 3rd great grandparents Narsizo Perez and Juana Francisca Tamez finally brought down a two year brick wall. Turns out that familysearch had the microfilm needed but unfortunately they only digitized half of the roll. I had contacted them over a year ago and was told that the problem had been forwarded to their engineers  I know I could have just ordered the film but the problem was that there is no familysearch library near me so that was out as an option. Tomorrow I'll be posting about and recommending the person that got this image for me. For now lets talk about this image. Fortunately for me this image provided me with the parents of Narsizo as being Anselmo Perez and Rita Rodriguez and the parents of Juana Tamez as Pablo Tamez and Ygnacia Cavazos. If anyone has the same ancestors as me please contact me would love to trade information.

Manuel Angel Rios and Manuela Rodriguez's 1779 Marriage in San Mateo, Montemorelos, Nuevo Leon, Mexico

The following is the image and transcription of the 1779 marriage of my 5th great grandparents Manuel Angel Rios and Manuela Rodriguez. He was the son of Francisco Rios and Maria Rossa. Manuela's parents were Salvador Rodriguez and Gertrudis Perez. I have yet to find any of their grandparents.

Juan Jose is the son of Asensio Marroquin and Juana Maria Moya. Maria Gertrudis is the son of Francisco Valdes and Maria Antonia Rodriguez.

Manuel Marroquin Valdez and Guadalupe Rodriguez Silva, 1830 Church Marriage in Santiago de Guajuco, Nuevo Leon, Mexico

This is the 1830s Church marriage record of my 3rd great grandparents, Manuel Marroquin and Guadalupe Rodriguez. Manuel Marroquin was the son of Juan Jose Marroquin and Maria Gertrudis Valdez. Guadalupe Rodriguez was the daughter of Jose Antonio Rodriguez and Maria Ygnacia Silva. This document is vey interesting since it indicates that they are related by 3rd and 2nd grades of consanguinity, meaning that they were related. Manuel's maternal grandmother was Maria Antonia Rodriguez and might be related to Guadalupe's father Jose Antonio Rodriguez. Unfortunately I have not been able to find the grandparents of Guadalupe Rodriguez in order to have a clearer picture of there relation.

1841 baptism of Juan Tanguma Pena, Purisima Concepcion, Mier, Tamaulipas, Mexico

The following is the 1841 image and transcription of my 2nd great grandfather's Juan Tanguma, baptism. My grandfather was named after him. He was born on Feb 07, 1841 in Mier, Tamaulipas, Mexico. He was the son of Jose Hipolito Tanguma Rodriguez and Maria Francisca Pena Barrera. He died in Aug 15, 1909 in Arcabuz, Tamaulipas, Mexico at the age of 68 years. He is buried at the local Cemetery of Congregacion Arcabuz, Tamaulipas, Mexico. I hope that his grave has a tombstone, since I had no idea he was buried there I have yet to look for it.

En Arcabuz, Tamaulipas, a las 18 dieciocho horas del dia 12 de Septiembre de 1930, mil novecientos treinta, ante mi, Higinio Gonzalez, Juez del Registro Civil de esta Congregacion, Comparecio el Ciudadano Luciano Garza, casado de 28 sincuenta y ocho anos de edad agricultor y vecino de este lugar, quien manifesto que ayer en su propia casa fallecio de fiebre la Senora Candelaria Pena, viuda de Lopez, a la edad de 68 sesenta y ocho anos, habiendose sepultado su cadaver en el semeterio de este lugar, que la finada fue hija legitima del Senor Trinidad Pena y la Senora Antonia Rodriguez, finados ya, y vecinos que fueron de este lugar. Leida la presente acta al interesado manifesto su conformidad. La ratifico y firmo, siendo testigos los Senores Hermenegildo Garcia y Severiano M. Garza, ambos casados mayores de edad y de esta vecindad, quienes tambien firman de conformidad. Doy fe.

En la Parroquia de la Villa a los tres dias del mes de Mayo de mil ochocientos sesenta y uno: Concluidas las diligencias Matrimoniales y leidos segun lo dispone el Santo Concilio dentro que lo fueron el catorce, veintiuno y veinticinco de Abril del corriente ano, y no habiendo resultado ningun impedimiento ni Cronico Civil aun pasadas veinticuatro horas despues de la ultima amonestacion expresada su mutuo consentimiento por palabras de presente que hace legitimo Matrimonio ante mi el Cura Propio D. Francisco de P Benavides, Lo contrajeron D. Trinidad Pena soltero originario de esta Villa de el rancho del Arcabuz hl. de D. Trinidad Pena y de Da. Ma. de Sjuan Garza que viven y Da. Antonia Rodriguez del mismo orijen y vecindad hija lejitima de Jesus Rodriguez que murio y de Da. Mier. = Tamaulipas. = En lo que es a mi cargo, a las cinco de la tarde del dia siete de Diciembre, de mil ochocientos noventa y seis, ante mi; Cosme Ramirez, Encargado suplente de esta, conprension, compaecio el Senor Pablo Marroquin de veintiseis anos de edad, y vecino de esta manifestando: ,que a las seis de la manana de hoy, fallecio en su propia casa de "Fiebre" su padre el Senor Jose Angel Marroquin; de cincuenta anos de edad, casado, labrador, dejando viuda a la Senora Francisca Perez: que fue hijo, de Manuel Marroquin y Guadalupe Rodriguez, finados. La boleta se expririo para el cemeterio de esta comprension, debiendose sepultado despues de , corridas las veinticuatro horas de ocurrida la defunsion.
